本研究では，知的障害を伴わない自閉スペクトラム症（以下ASD）児のグループ療育活動を実践し， TEACCH自閉症プログラムの考えに基づいた母親グループの実践を通して，母親自身の変化を捉えて，母親支援のあり方について検討した．研究の対象としては，知的障害を伴わないASD児の小学1年生6名を対象児，その母親6名を対象者とした．研究の方法は，療育開始前と終了後で5件法による 質問紙調査および半構造化面接法によるインタビューを対象者に個別で行い，質問紙の内容の変化を比較検討し，インタビューの内容の変化を質的に分析した．結果として，次の4点が母親の変化として捉えられた．①専門家から説明を受けた後，母親が子どもの状態を見ることで，わが子のASDの特性を知ることになり，特性に合わせた関わり方の工夫につながった．②専門家からサポートを受けることで，母親自身が支援の必要性を感じるきっかけになった．③母親同士で話し合うことで，ASDの特性による子どもの行動について間違った認識をしていたことに気づくことになった．④専門家と母親が協力関係を築くことで，母親が子どもをより理解するようになり，家族関係を見直すきっかけになった．以上のことから，母親グループへの支援は，母親が子どもの行動について間違った認識をしていることに気づき，子どもの特性を理解した関わり方の工夫につながる支援であることが考えられた． |

In this study, we practiced the group intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) without intellectual disability, and investigated the ideal way of supporting their mothers by grasping the changes in mothers themselves through the practice of mothers’group based on the TEACCH Autism Program. The subjects of this study were six first graders with ASD and their mothers. We used the questionnaire survey and the semi- structured interview before and after the intervention, then compared and analyzed them qualitatively. As a result, the following four points were considered as the changes in mothers (1) After receiving an explanation from experts, the mothers were able to know the characteristics of ASD, which led to the ingenuity of how to relate to them. (2) Receiving some support from experts made each of mothers realize the necessity of the support. (3) By talking with other parents, they realized that they had misunderstood the behavior of their children. (4) The cooperation between experts and mothers helped mothers to understand their children better and to review family relationships. These results suggest that the supports for mothers’group make them realize their misunderstanding about their child’s behaviors and lead to the idea of how to relate to them. |
