| 江戸時代，藩主の診察や治療には各藩の抱える藩医が従事した．さらに藩主が危篤状態になると，当時の医療の最先端の地であった江戸や藩領地外から医者を呼び寄せることもあった．岡山藩藩政資料「池田家文庫」（岡山大学附属図書館所収）に残された史料は，現在の我々に江戸時代の大名の病と治療の様子を伝える．そこからは江戸時代の地方における医療の実態だけでなく，医療技術や情報の伝播も伺い知ることができる．本稿では武家，特に大名が慣例あるいはひとつの儀礼として残した記録が，江戸時代の医療の技術やその広がりを明らかにできる可能性を示したい． | ||||||||

| In the Edo period, a feudal lord’s illness was normally examined by any private doctors in the region. However, when the feudal lord falls into critical condition, skilled doctors were occasionally summoned from Edo or outside the region. The Ikeda-clan’s historical records provide information on the illnesses and treatments of feudal lords, providing insight into the quality of rural healthcare as well as the spread of medical knowledge and technology. This paper aims to investigate the possibility of those records revealing the spread of medical technology during the Edo period. | ||||||||
