| 認知症支援ボランティア活動は，認知症の人や家族への支援や地域住民への認知症の啓発活動などがある．それに加えて，高齢者層が中心となった認知症支援ボランティアグループでは，地域高齢者の認知症予防とともにボランティア自身の認知症予防も活動目的に含まれる．そこで，本研究ではボランティア自身が取り組みやすい認知症予防活動の展開にむけ，ニーズ調査に基づくボランティア養成講座内容の検討を目的とした．方法は，ボランティア養成講座の受講生29名を対象にした自由記述による質問紙調査であった．受講生の約8割が65歳以上の高齢者であり，高齢ボランティアのニーズ に合わせた養成講座を展開する必要性が確認された．また，講座の活用ニーズは，4カテゴリ（「現在 のボランティア活動への活用」，「新しい活動への意欲」，「自分や身近な人への活用」，「意気込み」） が得られた．そして4カテゴリは，受講生の地域での実践経験の有無と関心の方向性（社会・個人） の2軸で理解することができた．この2軸を利用した受講生ニーズ把握とニーズに合わせた講座の設計が，講座終了後の地域活動への展開に貢献する可能性が考えられた． | ||||||||||

| The dementia support volunteer groups work for the families of people with dementia and conduct educational programs to promote knowledge regarding dementia among local residents. In addition, the purpose of the volunteer groups, wherein basic activities are primarily conducted by older people, is to spread awareness of the need to prevent dementia in the elderly and fellow volunteers. Accordingly, the purpose of this study was to examine the content of volunteer training courses in accordance with surveys so as to develop dementia prevention activities in which volunteers can engage easily. A free-form questionnaire survey was completed by 29 volunteers. Approximately 80% of the trainees were people aged 65 years and older. The results revealed it was imperative to develop training courses to meet older aged volunteers’needs. In addition, four categories of utilization needs of the course emerged: utilization for current volunteer activities, motivation for new activities, utilization for oneself and acquaintances, and enthusiasm. The four categories may be understood from the two axes on the graph which show the trainees’practical experience and direction of interest, that is, societal and individual. One may deduce that understanding the trainees’needs by employing the two axes and designing the course in relation to their needs may contribute to the development of community activities after completion of the course. | ||||||||||
