| 肺がん患者が獲得する Benefit Finding（BF）の内容と獲得に関連する事柄について明らかにすることを目的に，半構成的面接により得られた9名の対象者の語りを分析した．その結果，BFの内容については【人生と向き合えるようになった】【身体をいたわろうと思うようになった】【健康でいるための行動をとるようになった】【他者のことを気に掛けるようになった】【家族へのありがたみが深 まった】【逆境に向き合うための術が増えた】の6つが抽出され，獲得に関連する事柄については【支えとなる人がいること】【心身が好ましい状態であること】【辛い現実と向き合った経験があること】 【人生の終結への心構えがあること】【役割があること】の5つが抽出された．BFの獲得を促す援助は，BFを獲得しやすいような環境づくりが基盤になると考えられた．BF の獲得を促す援助として， 症状緩和が特に重要であり，苦痛が少ない状態を確保した上で患者の語りに耳を傾ける必要があると考えられた． |

| To an aim of investigating benefit finding (BF) in patients with lung cancer and events related to its development, we analyzed the data obtained from semi-structured interviews involving 9 subjects. As a result, the following six categories were extracted as BF: [having become able to confront my life], [having started to take good care of myself], [having started to take action to stay healthy], [having started to care about others], [deepened appreciation for family], and [having been equipped with more strategies to deal with adversity], and the following 5 categories were extracted as events related to BF development: [having someone who supports me], [keeping body and mind in good condition], [having an experience of confronting a painful reality], [being prepared for the end of life], and [having roles to play in life]. It is thought that the support for BF acquisition should be based on the creation of an environment that facilitates BF acquisition. The results also indicated that it is particularly important to reduce symptoms as support to promote BF, showing the need to listen to patients after managing their pain. | ||||||||||
