|
がんの診断や治療を実施する病院における看護師の就労支援の実態を明らかにし，看護への示唆を得ることを目的とした．5施設において，がん患者への看護経験が1年以上の看護師に無記名自記式質問紙調査を実施した．332名から回答を得て，単純集計とχ2検定を行った．8割以上の看護師が病棟，外来いずれにおいても看護師による就労支援が必要だと認識していた．実際に就労支援をしている看護師は12.0% であり，実施している内容は，「傾聴」，「連携・紹介」，「情報収集」，「アドバイス」の順に多かった．がん対策推進基本計画における施策のひとつとして「がん患者等の就労を含めた社会的な問題」が位置づけられていることを知っている者は，35.5%だった．就労支援が困難な理由として最も多かったのは「情報がない・制度を知らない」次いで「何をしたらいいかわからない」であった．就労支援に関する研修会等において，就労支援の全体像から看護師の役割をみることができれば， 専門的な支援が必要な患者をみつけること，システムにつなげることの意義，重要性が理解でき，実践につながると考えられた． |

The purpose of this study was to clarify the actual conditions of nurses’participation in providing support regarding employment to oncology patients and to obtain suggestions on barriers which nurses could help to alleviate. An anonymous, self-administered questionnaire of oncology nurses with at least one year of experience was carried out in 5 facilities. Responses were obtained from 332 nurses and analysis was performed through simple tabulation and χ2 test. More than 80% of nurses thought that it was part of their role to provide support regarding employment to oncology patients. Of the respondents, 12% of nurses provided employment support to patients. The types of support which nurses provided include, in ascending order of importance,“listening,”“cooperation/ introduction,”“information gathering,”and“advice.”The feeling that“employment as a cancer patient is a social issue”was identified by 35.5% of nurses. The most difficult barriers for employment support were identified as “no information, no knowledge of the system,”followed by“I do not know what to do.”These results demonstrate that the majority of oncology nurses feel that it is part of their role to help connect patients with the employment support system so that they are able to receive specialized support. |
