| スマートフォン等の携帯機器により，インターネットは時間・場所を問わず利用できる状況にある．本研究では，自己制御能力の低さと孤独感の高さが，特定のインターネット利用動機と結びつく場合に，インターネットへの依存的な利用傾向をいっそう強めると仮説した．利用動機は，他者とのコミュニケーションを求めるコミュニケーション志向とコンテンツを楽しむコンテンツ志向に分類した．大学生を対象とした質問紙調査をおこない，不備なく回答した361名のデータを分析した．相関分析の結果，孤独感の高さとコンテンツ志向に加え，特に自己制御能力の低さとコミュニケーション志向がインターネット依存傾向と強く関連していた．自己制御能力は孤独感およびコミュニケーション志向と負の相関があった．他方，自己制御能力の低さとコンテンツ志向，孤独感の高さとコミュニケーション志向の相関はほぼゼロであった．そこで，階層的重回帰分析により，インターネット依存傾向に対する自己制御能力とコンテンツ志向の交互作用，孤独感とコミュニケーション志向の交互作用の影響を調べた．その結果，自己制御能力とコンテンツ志向の交互作用が有意であり，自己制御能力が低い人では，コンテンツ志向が強まるほどインターネット依存傾向が高くなるという関係が，自己制御能力の高い人よりも顕著にみられた．インターネットの依存的利用を防ぐために，自己制御能力の向上が重要であると考えられる． | ||||||||||

| Today, the Internet is available anytime and anywhere through portable devices such as smartphones. The following hypothesis was established: low self-control and high loneliness would increase Internet addiction tendencies based on the motives of the person using the Internet, which were classified as communication-oriented and content-oriented motives. A questionnaire was administered to university students, and data without missing values were analyzed (N=361). The results of correlation analysis indicated that not only high loneliness and content-oriented motives, but also especially low self-control and communication-oriented motives were strongly correlated with the Internet addiction tendency. Moreover, self-control had negative correlations with loneliness and communication-oriented motives. On the other hand, there were no correlations between low self-control abilities and content-oriented motives, as well as between high loneliness and communication-oriented motives. The effects of interactions between self-control and content-oriented motives and interactions between loneliness and communication-oriented motives on Internet addiction tendencies were examined using hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The results indicated significant interactions between self-control abilities and content-oriented motives. Internet addiction tendencies increased more when content-oriented motives increased in people with low compared to high self-control abilities. It is considered important to improve self-control abilities for preventing the addictive use of the Internet. | ||||||||||
