| 本研究は，我が子を死産で亡くした父親の心の整理のきっかけを明らかにすることを目的とした．我が子を死産で亡くした父親5名に半構成的面接を実施し，心の整理のあり様と時間軸を視点として質的記述的に分析した．結果は≪悲しみの共有≫≪周りからの心の整理を助ける言動≫≪供養への取り組み≫≪夫婦相互の理解≫≪次子の誕生≫の5つのカテゴリーが抽出された． 我が子の死への衝撃に対しては≪悲しみの共有≫≪周りからの心の整理を助ける言動≫がきっかけとなっていた．我が子の死を受け入れることへの葛藤には，さらに≪供養への取り組み≫≪夫婦相互の理解≫が加わり，それらが関連しながら≪次子の誕生≫という最も大きなきっかけを得て心の整理に至っていた．そのため，看護者は、供養への取り組みに関する情報提供，夫婦相互の理解が促進されるような援助を充実していく必要がある． |

| This study aimed to clarify the factors that aid fathers who had lost a child due to stillbirth in organizing their thoughts. We conducted a semi-structured interview with 5 men with stillborn children, and analyzed the data obtained both qualitatively and descriptively from the viewpoint of their state of mind over time. As a result, we extracted the following 5 categories: 1) sharing of grief, 2) other people’s words and actions to aid the person in organizing his thoughts, 3) making efforts to pray for the stillborn child, 4) mutual understanding between the stillborn infant’s parents， and 5) having another baby． The 1st and 2nd categories helped study subjects to deal with their mental devastation due to their child’s stillbirth. The 3rd and 4th categories aided them in coping with conflicts caused by trying to accept their child’s death, with the 5th category being the most significant factor encouraging them to organize their thoughts. Therefore, it is necessary for nurses to provide information about dealing with the 3rd category, and to enrich the type of support that promotes the 4th category． |
