| 本論文は, わが国における知的障害者の自己決定に必要な学習と支援に関する研究動向を把握することを目的とした.そのための基礎的作業として, 自己決定の構成要素を(1)本人主体, (2)参加, (3)プロセス(情報とその吟味), (4)選択権の行使, の四点にまとめた.このような自己決定を現実化していくためには, 具体的な学習と支援が必要とされる.ここでは, (1)障害の自己認識, (2)社会参加の機会拡大, (3)情報の収集と理解, (4)自己決定のプロセスにみられる役割活動の四つの観点から, 研究動向を把握した.その結果, 今後の課題としては, 次の二点が指摘された.第一は, 知的障害者自身の学習及び学習を促すための支援に焦点を当てた研究が望まれることである.第二は, 知的障害者の自己決定を現実のものとしていくための, 学習や支援の方法論の提示が望まれることである. | ||||||||||

| The purpose of this paper is to clarify the trend in Japanese research concerning learning and support that are needed to enable people with intellectual disabilities attain self-determination. The constit-uating factors of self-determination are (1) the subject him- or herself, (2) participation, (3) process (receiving and carefully examination of information), (4) choice-making. For the subject to realize such self-determination, both learning and support are needed. In this paper, we have grasped the trend in research on the process of self-determination from the following four viewpoint : (1) self-awareness of disability, (2) expansion of opportunities of social participation, (3) gathering and comprehending of information, (4) and the role of each of these in the process of self-determination. So future research needs to focus : (1) on the learning to be done by the disabled person him- or herself together with the support needed to stimulate this learning, (2) and on the presentation of a methodology of learning and support needed in order for the intellectually disabled person's self-determination to become a reality. | ||||||||||
