| 車イス使用高齢者のシーティングについて, (1)「高齢者一軍イス」の関係を探るために, 車イス座面の変更が高齢者の座圧分布に与える影響を把握するとともに, (2)「車イス使用高齢者一生活環境」の関係を捉えるために, シーティングの改善が生活展開に与える影響を時系列的に探り, (3)高齢者が使用する車イスのあり方について若干の考察を加えた.以下にその内容を要約する.(1)車イス座面のスリングシートから固定シートへの変更と車イスの調整により, 座圧分布の改善がみられた事例がある一方で, 改善がみられない事例もあり, 1種類の座面による対応の限界が示された.(2)シーティングの改善による車イス環境の変化が, 生活展開にも影響を与えている傾向がみられた.(3)高齢者が使用する車イスは, モジュラー型車イス等の個別対応可能な車イスが必要である.また, シーティングの改善に際しては, 「高齢者一車イスー生活環境」に関連する現状での馴染みへの配慮も必要である. | ||||||||

| The purpose of this study was to improve the seat for the elderly wheelchair users. Elderly wheelchair users were surveyed and observed after improving the seats. The results of the analysis were as follows. (1)While there were examples in which pressure on the seat decreased by improvements in the seating, there were examples in which there was no change. Seats must be designed for individual differences. (2)An improvement in seating tended to influence the behavior pattern. (3)The wheelchair like the module system wheelchair is necessary for elderly users. The seating improvement should take into consideration modern ideas about the "elderly - wheelchair - life environment" relationship. | ||||||||
