| 本研究の目的は，青年期に受傷した脊髄損傷者の就労から安定した生活を獲得するプロセスを明らかにすることである．高校・大学時に受傷した脊髄損傷者6名を対象に，半構成的面接を行い，質的記述的に分析した．分析の結果，青年期の脊髄損傷者は，復学の有無に関わらず，【就労に向けての身体的・心理的準備】を整え，様々な不安がある中で【就労への踏み出し】をしていた．就労することで獲得した安定した生活と仕事の両立を維持する努力の上で，【自分なりの充実した生活の確立】をしており，社会の中での自分らしい生き様を見出す【社会における自己の統合】をしていた．このプロセスにおいて親，医療者，同じ障害をもつ仲間など【周囲からの就労・社会生活への後押し】が力強い支援となっていた．医療者は，青年期の脊髄損傷者の就労の意義を認識し，将来の見通しが立てられるような情報提供を行い，就労への意欲が向上するような支援の必要性が示された． | ||||||||

| The purpose of this study is to clarify the process of getting a stable life from work for adolescents with spinal cord injuries (SCI). A semi-structured interview was conducted with six participants with SCI who were injured while in senior high school or university, and a qualitative inductive descriptive research design was used. As a result of the analysis, the adolescents with SCI had prepared “physical and psychological preparation for work” whether or not they returned to school, and they “took a step towards work” despite a variety of anxieties. They were “establishing their own fulfilling lives” in the efforts to maintain a balance between a stable life gained through work and working life, and finding their own way of life in society. That was exactly “the self-integration in society”. In this process, their parents, medical professionals and peers with the same disability provided powerful support as a “boost to work and social life”. This study showed that medical professionals need to recognize the significance of work for adolescents with SCI, provide information relating to future prospects, and support them to improve their motivation to work. | ||||||||
