高次脳機能障害者の「ケアを担う家族（以下，家族）」に対する支援に関する先行研究をレビューした結果，3つの傾向が明らかになった．第一に，家族は高次脳機能障害者のリハビリテーションに大きな影響を与える存在であり，且つ，家族自身も支援を必要としていることであった．第二に，医療職による心理教育的支援の重要性や方法に関する実践研究が多く，その目的は家族支援を通して家族が高次脳機能障害者により良いケアを担えることであった．第三に，家族自体に焦点を当て，家族への支援を検討する研究は少なく，家族の介護への思いやその変化の要因を明らかにした研究は少なかった．また，家族の生活を保障するために何が必要かを家族の視点から質的に明らかにする研究はなかった．以上のことから，家族が自分らしい生活を取り戻すためにはどのような支援が必要なのか，社会的包摂の概念に基づき，研究をさらに進める必要があると考える． |

A review of previous studies on support for“family members in charge of care”(hereafter“family members”) of persons with higher brain dysfunction (HBD) revealed three trends. First, family members have a significant influence on the rehabilitation of individuals with HBD, and they themselves need support. Second, there were many practical studies on the importance and methods of psychoeducational support by healthcare professionals, with the aim of enabling families to provide better care for individuals with HBD through family support. Third, few studies focused on the family itself and examined support for the family, and few studies clarified the family’s thoughts about caregiving and the factors that cause changes in these thoughts. There were also no studies that qualitatively clarified what is needed to guarantee the lives of family members from their perspective. Based on the above, we believe that further research needs to be conducted based on the concept of social inclusion to determine what kind of support is necessary for families to regain their own lives. |
