筆者らは，口唇口蓋裂の非当事者の本疾患に対する認識を把握するため，インターネットを用いたWeb 調査を実施した．本研究は，「本疾患を知らない」と回答した250名の対象者の認識を明らかにすることである．「顔面に傷や手術の痕のある方に会ったことの有無」，「会ったことがある人」の調査項目は単純集計とクロス集計を行った．さらに「自分に・結婚相手に・自分の子どもに顔面に傷や手術の痕があったら気になること」については，性別・年代・顔面に傷や手術の痕のある方に会ったことの有無とクロス集計を行った．その結果，顔面に傷や手術の痕のある方に会ったことが＜ある＞ 人は38.0% ＜ない＞人は62.0%，そのうち会った時に＜普通に接した＞人は72.6%，＜傷や手術の痕の原因は気にならなかった＞人は75.8% であった．これらの結果を当事者へフィードバックすることは， 当事者が他者から見られる自己の捉えを再考できる一助となると考える． |

To clarify non-patient attitudes toward cleft lip and/or palate, we previously conducted a survey using the Internet. The present study examined the recognition among 250 respondents, who answered that they did not know the disease. For the“experience of meeting or not meeting those who have a scar/surgical scar on their face” and“the respondents who have met those with a scar/surgical scar”, simple and cross tabulation were performed. Furthermore, for“what the respondents would be concerned about if they, their spouses, or children had a scar or surgical scar on their face”, cross tabulation was performed with the sex, age, and experience of meeting those who have a scar or surgical scar on their face. Among all respondents, 38.0% had the experience of meeting someone with a scar or surgical scar on their face and 62.0% did not have such an experience. Respectively, 72.6% and 75.8% answered“I treated that person normally”and“I didn’t care about the cause of the scar/surgical scar”. Feedback of results was given to patients with cleft lip and/or palate and may help them review their self-recognition. |
