|
本研究の目的は，元日本プロ野球選手・監督の星野仙一氏（1947-2018）の肢体不自由児に対する態度と交流への意欲について定性的に分析することであった．分析対象は，「星野」「ティーボール」 などの単語を含む記事であった．その記事は，社会福祉法人旭川荘が発行した広報誌から抽出された．分析の結果，星野氏と肢体不自由児間で相互に激励し合う関係性が存在していたことが確認された．さらに，肢体不自由児は星野氏が紹介したティーボールに取り組んだことによって，人への思いやりや協調性を学ぶ機会を得たことが分かった．以上の結果は，肢体不自由児が星野氏との交流によって，社会参加の機会を得ただけではなく，自主的に取り組む機会を得たことを示唆している． |

This study qualitatively analyzed attitudes toward children with physical disabilities on the part of the former Japanese professional baseball player and manager Senichi Hoshino (1947–2018) and his willingness to interact with them. The analysis was conducted to articles containing the name “Hoshino” and words such as “teeball”. The articles were extracted a public relations magazine published by Asahigawaso. It was found that a mutually encouraging relationship existed between Hoshino and children with physical disabilities. Furthermore, it was revealed that children with disabilities were able to learn more about compassion and cooperativeness among people by playing teeball, as led by Hoshino. This suggests that children with physical disabilities gained access to social participation while also being able to voluntarily face challenges, thanks to Hoshino. |
