| 最近のわが国における結腸癌死亡率の都道府県別格差に関連する食物要因を探る目的で, 最近(1975,1980,1985年)の性・都道府県別結腸癌の標準化死亡比(以下, SMRと略す)と, 各SMRの調査年より6年前および11年前の食物要因等42項目と付加項目としてたばこの計43項目との関係について調べ, 以下の成績を得た.1.1975,1980,1985年の結腸癌SMRの分布は, 高い方では男女ともに東京, 京都, 大阪, 神奈川, 福岡等の大都市圏を含む都府県と東北や北陸地方の県が多く, 逆に低い方では男女ともに九州, 四国の県が多い傾向が見られた.これらのSMRの年次間および男女間にはきわめて高い相関があることから, 最近のわが国の都道府県別結腸癌SMRには, 男女共通の地域集積性があることが認められた.2.1980年の結腸癌SMRと項目との関係で, 男女ともに有意の正相関を示したのは食料費, 生鮮魚介類, 豚肉, 野菜類, 加工食品, 食塩, 嗜好食品, 菓子類, 飲料, 酒類, ウィスキー, 外食費の12項目, 男性のみに有意の正相関を示したのはパン類,副食品, 肉類, ハム, ソーセージの5項目, 女性のみに有意の正相関を示したのは味噌の1項目であった.男女ともに有意の負相関を示したのは麦・雑穀類, 緑茶の2項目で, 牛肉, 鶏肉, 鶏卵の3項目は女性のみに有意の負相関を示した.3.1985年の結腸癌SMRと項目との関係で, 男女ともに有意の正相関を示したのは食料費, 副食品, 野菜類, 加工食品, 嗜好食品, 菓子類, 酒類, ウィスキー, 外食費の9項目, 男性のみに有意の正相関を示したのは主食, 米類, パン類, 生鮮魚介類, ハム, ソーセージ, その他の乾物・海草, コーヒーの8項目, 女性のみに有意の正相関を示したのはこんにやく製品, 食塩, 味噌, 清酒の4項目であった.男女ともに有意の負相関を示した項目は見られなかったが, 乳酸・乳酸菌飲料は男性のみに, 牛肉, 乳卵類, 鶏卵, 緑茶の4項目は女性のみに有意の負相関を示した. | ||||||||||

| In order to examine the cause of regional differences in colon cancer mortality among Japanese, analyses by prefecture of the relationships between both male and female SMR (Standardized Mortality Ratio) of colon cancer in 1980 and 1985 and dietary factors (per capita food consumption of forty-two foods and beverages plus tobacco as an additional factor) in 1969,1974 and 1979 for forty-seven prefectures were computed using Pearson's equation. The correlation coefficients were positively significant between the SMR in 1980 and eighteen items (expenses of food, bread, expenses of fish, meat and vegetables, etc., fresh fish, meat, pork, ham, sausages, fresh vegetables, processed food, salt, soybean paste, expenses of cakes, fruits and beverages, cakes and candies, non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages, whisky, expenses of food away from home) in both 1969 and 1974,and between the SMR in 1985 and twenty-one items (expenses of food, cereals, rice, bread, expenses of fish, meat and vegetables, etc., fresh fish, ham, sausages, fresh vegetables, other dried vegetables and seaweed, processed food, devil's tongue jelly products, salt, soybean paste, expenses of cakes, fruits, and beverages, cakes and candies, alcoholic beverages, sake, whisky, coffee and expenses of food away from home) in both 1974 and 1979. The correlation coefficients were negatively significant between the SMR in 1980 and five items (barley and other cereals, green tea, beef, chicken and eggs) in both 1969 and 1974,and between the SMR in 1985 and five items (fermented lactic drinks, beef, daily products and eggs, eggs and green tea) in both 1974 and 1979. | ||||||||||
