| 平均寿命の進展で,高齢者が増加し特に要介護者の急増から,国は介護予防重視型のシステムに転換した.地産地消運動が盛んになり,朝市活動が盛んに行われるようになった.活動を行う人には女性や高齢者が多い.高齢者が朝市活動を行うことは,何かを産みだす行為が達成感,充実感,有用体験をともなって,自己実現をもたらす.収入を得ることは,高齢者の生きがいと意欲を引き出す.農業を行うことは,季節性があり自然への働きかけであり,緊張緩和,癒し効果があり,ADLの低下や疾病を予防し,生活の質の向上や心身両面における健康増進が図られる.農業・朝市活動を行うことは,知的・身体的・精神的に健康が保て,介護予防につながる.本研究は,朝市活動を実施している高齢者の活動の意義を明らかにするために質問紙調査を行った.調査内容は,独自に作成した朝市活動に関する意義についての18項目及び年齢と社会的役割,主観的健康感,抑うつ,病気の有無,歯の健康との関係等である.その結果,朝市活動の意義に関しては,介護予防になるが80歳以上に有意な差があり,割合が高かった.60歳代と80歳以上の高齢者は,わずかであるが「健康である」と思っている人の割合は高かった.このことは,高齢者が行っている朝市活動が健康をもたらす要因になっている.有意差はなかったものの,わずかではあるが70歳代よりは80歳以上の高齢者の主観的健康感,歯の状態,病気や障害がない人の割合が高かった.朝市活動を行うことが運動習慣を有することになり,そのことにより一定の体力が維持され,主観的健康感や生活満足度などの心理機能にポジティブに作用したことから,朝市活動を行うことが特に80歳以上の高齢者に有効であったと言える. | ||||||||

| A lot of the elderly are taking part in morning market activities. Such activities can lead to self-actualization, and accompany that with a sense of accomplishment, fulfillment and usefulness. Earning an income gives them meaning and motivation for life. Agriculture has a relaxing and healing effect that lowers ADL, prevents diseases and improves the quality of life. Agricultural and morning market activities help in maintaining a healthy body, mind and intellectual ability, and they lower the need for nursing care. This descriptive study was conducted with the elderly who are taking part in morning market activities. A conclusion can be drawn that the morning market positively contributes to the quality of life and brings a significant difference in nursing care of those 80-years-old and over. They think that taking part in the morning market makes them healthy. | ||||||||
