| 障害を負った芸術家5事例の障害に対する反応過程から,障害への自己認識を探り,芸術表現領域と障害受容理論の整合性を検討し,芸術表現が持つ価値の多様性を障害受容への手段として積極的に活用する可能性について検討した.障害受容理論として,認知度の高い5種類の段階理論と2種類の価値転換理論を取り上げた.その結果,1事例を除く4事例で,各段階理論が提唱する過程に一致しなかった.1つの段階理論と完全に合致した1事例は,障害者の家族の立場であった.段階理論に一致しなかった4事例の内の1事例では,受容に至った形跡が認められなかった.また理論に一致しなかった別の1事例は,受容という考え方そのものの適用に適切性があるように考えられず,既存の障害受容理論の枠にまったく収まらない特殊性が示された.本研究より,段階理論と価値転換理論には共通性がある,何らかの価値転換の過程を経て受容へ至る,障害受容理論が成立しない特殊事例が存在する,障害受容理論が成立しない事例とその事例の芸術特性は関連がある,表現行為には障害受容への可能性がある,という5点が指摘された.障害受容理論が成立しない事例の芸術特性として,創造性と自由度が極めて高く,枠組みが非常に緩い芸術活動であることが,一つの可能性として示唆された. | ||||||||

| The disability acceptance processes of five artists were compared with existing disability acceptance theories as well as related theories, and analyzed. And finally the possibilities of applying the diversity of values of arts activities, for the means of disability acceptance, were discussed. The results show that four of the five did not match the process indicated by the Stage Theories. In one case among the four that did not match the theories, no trace of reaching acceptance was recognized. Another case had reached acceptance from the beginning, indicating a peculiarity that cannot be applied to any of the existing theories. This study indicates: 1.There is something in common between the Stage Theories and the Value-Transformation Theories. 2.Some sort of process of value-transformation leads to acceptance. 3.There are peculiar cases that are not compatible with the disability acceptance theories. 4.The cases incompatible with the disability acceptance theories are correlated with artistic characteristics. 5.Expressive arts activities have the potential for disability acceptance. One possible suggestion is that the artistic characteristics of the cases that are not compatible with the disability acceptance theories include artistic activities based on very loose frameworks with high creativity and flexibility. | ||||||||
