本研究は,シーティングの普及を進めていくことを念頭に,理学療法士のシーティングへの取り組みについての現状(意識・行動)を検討し,それらに影響を与えている要因を明らかにすることを目的とした.対象は,全国老人保健施設協会会員名簿から無作為抽出した312ケ所の老人保健施設に勤務するPT312名である.方法は,郵送による質問紙調査法をとった.調査内容は,対象者の基本属性と職場環境・教育環境・シーティング推進に関する事項等の16項目であった.分析方法は,「年齢,経験年数,性別」等の個人属性,「役職の有無,入所定員数」等の職場環境,「養成校でのモジュラー型車いす・標準型車いすの実習経験の有無」・「養成校内でのモジュラー型車いすを用いた実習教育の重要性についての認識」等の教育環境を説明変数とした.目的変数は,「施設備品選定についての関与の有無」等のシーティングに関わる3つの行動項目と「施設備品としてモジュラー型車いすを用意すること」等のシーティングに関わる3つの意識項目とした.養成校でのモジュラー型車いすの実習を経験していた者は3.8%と極めて低かった.また,「養成校内でのモジュラー型車いすを用いた実習教育の重要性についての認識」と「施設備品としてモジュラー型車いすを用意しておくこと」の間に有意な正の相関が認められた.シーティングの普及を推進していくには,養成校でのモジュール型車いすによる実習教育を充実させていく必要性が示唆された. |

The purpose of this study was to verify factors that influence the attitudes and behavior of physical therapists with the aim of popularizing the use of specialized seating and seating aids. Three hundred and twelve physical therapists working in healthcare facilities for the elderly participated in this study. The method of collecting data was through a questionnaire administered by mail. Survey content consisted of sixteen items relating to work environment, education environment and popularization of specialized seating. Awareness of laboratory teaching in training institution with modular wheel chairs was significant. It correlated positively with making provisions for modular wheel chairs used as senior care home equipment. The results suggest that in order to popularize specialized seating, it is necessary to have laboratory teaching in training institutions with modular wheel chairs. |
