| 本研究は長期入院の統合失調症患者における知的機能の特徴を知ること,および知的機能と社会生活障害の関連を知ることを目的とした.対象者は36名であった.知的機能はウエクスラー成人知能検査改訂版(WAIS--R)で評定し,社会生活障害は精神科リハビリテーション行動評価尺度(Rehab)で評定した.その結果,社会生活障害は重度であったにもかかわらず,知的機能は比較的良好に保たれていた.知的機能と社会生活障害の間には有意な相関があった.また,集団作業療法参加者と不参加者を比較すると,前者の方が知能機能と社会生活能力は良好であった.開放病棟入院患者と閉鎖病棟入院患者を比較すると,前者の方が社会生活障害は重度であったが,知的機能に有意差はなかった. | ||||||||||

| The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of the intellectual functions, and the relationship between the intellectual functions and the social life disabilities in schizophrenic long-term inpatients. Thirty-six schizophrenic long-term inpatients participated in this study. The intellectual functions were evaluated using the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale - Revised. The social life disabilities were evaluated using the Rehabilitation Evaluation of Hall and Baker. Results showed that the intellectual functions were kept considerably well, though the social life disabilities were severe. There was a significant correlation between the intellectual functions and the social life disabilities. In addition, when we compared the patients who participated in group occupational therapy with the patients who did not participate, the intellectual functions and the social life abilities of the former were better than the latter. When we compared the patients of the closed ward with the patients of the open ward, the social life disabilities of the former were more severe than the latter, though there was no difference in the intellectual functions. | ||||||||||
