| 喫煙問題に関心の薄かったわが国においてもようやく禁煙支援の方法に関心が高まっている.この禁煙成功率を予測するにはニコチン依存の程度を測定する必要があるので,Fagerstrom Tolerance Questionnaire(FTQ),Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence(FTND),たばこ/ニコチン依存スクリーニング法(TDS)および厚生省による3項目の依存度チェック法の比較を行った.現在の趨勢ではたばこ依存の尺度としてFTNDが使われることが多いが,TDSも優れた計量心理学的特性を持っていることから,もっと広く使われることが望まれる.厚生省の調査で使われた3項目の依存度チェック法も簡便であり,見捨てがたく,計量心理学的検討が望まれる.と同時に,これらの尺度の関係やそれらの得失についての研究にも期待が寄せられる. | ||||||||

| In order to predict the success rate of a person who ceases smoking, it is necessary to assess the level of his/her nicotine dependence. Thus, the Fagerstrom Tolerance Questionnaire (FTQ), Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence (FTND), Tobacco/Nicotine Dependence Screening (TDS) and 3 item nicotine dependence scale used by the Ministry of Health and Welfare were reviewed. At present, FTND is most commonly used, however, TDS has excellent psychometric properties and should be used more widely. An advantage of the 3 item scale used by the Ministry of Health and Welfare is that it is short and simple, but the validity and reliability should be confirmed. Research on the relationships between these scales, and advantages and disadvantages of these scales are also expected. | ||||||||
