| Successful Agingの研究は主に米国において進んでいるが,用語そのものの意味も研究者によって見解が異なる.我が国では未だ独自の社会的文化的民族的背景からの示唆は得られていない段階である.そこで今回,著者らの先行の報告を基に,65歳以上の高齢者36名へのアンケート調査から,Successful Agingの現状について質的因子探索型研究を行った. 高齢者におけるSuccessful Agingの現状としては,【満足】【健康】【自己保存】【参加】【チャレンジ】【自負心】の6カテゴリーが抽出された.`健康・元気にむけて努力する'から【健康】,`過去も現在も満足している'から【満足】,`満足している今の自分を,努力して維持させたい'から【自己保存】,`社会や人との関わりに意味を見出している'から【参加】,`好奇心旺盛で前向き'から【チャレンジ】,`高い自己評価とともにある自信'から【自負心】,の6カテゴリーであった.高齢者におけるSuccessful Agingの現状を明らかにすることは,新たな高齢者像の構築,医療・看護教育における高齢者理解の一端に寄与することができる. | ||||||||||

| Research into Successful Aging is the most advanced in the United States, and the meaning of the term is different and depending on the opinion of the researcher. Successful Aging, from an original social, cultural and racial background, is still a concept our country has yet to obtain. The qualitative factor search type of the current state of Successful Aging was researched using a questionnaire survey of 36 senior citizens of 65 years or more based on the report of authors' preceding this time. Six categories for the current state of Successful Aging in the elderly were identified: Satisfaction, Health, Self-conservation, Participation, Challenge, and Self-confidence. Clarifying the current state of Successful Aging in senior citizens can better contribute to senior citizens understanding the overall construction, medical treatment and nursing education of senior citizens and lead them to create a new image of themselves for the future. | ||||||||||
