幼児期における育児ストレスや子どもの問題行動を減らす適切な援助方針を設定するためには,幼児の気質を検討することが必要と考えられる.本研究は,幼児気質質問紙の各尺度と幼児の観察された行動との関連性を確認することで,気質尺度の妥当性を検討することを目的に実施した. 対象者は親子教室に参加した母子24組である.養育者は武井他(2004)が作成した幼児気質質問紙に回答し,親子が親子教室(#1-#10)に参加した.親子教室を初期(#1あるいは#2)・中期(#5あるいは#6)・後期(#9あるいは#10)の3期にわけ,それぞれで観察場面(5分)を抽出した.物への関わり,位置移動,母親への能動的な関わり,他者への能動的な関わりの4つの行動カテゴリーを設定し,時期別および3期全体で,各気質尺度と行動カテゴリーとの間の相関係数を算出した.結果,順応性尺度と母親への能動的関わり行動との間には,状況によっても変化しにくい安定した関連性が示唆された.気質尺度と行動カテゴリーの間の安定した関連性を確認するためには,観察場面数を増やし,観察内容を多様化することが必要と考えられた. |

We can make the appropriate decision to decrease the stress in rearing a toddler and the problem behavior in childhood by investigating the toddler temperament. The purpose of this study is to discuss the validity of each toddler temperament scale by confirming the relationship of toddler temperament assessed on the questionnaire by parents and the toddler behavior observed by observers. 24 dyads participated in this study. Parents answered the toddler temperament questionnaire (Takei et al, 2004) and 24 dyads participated in the parent-toddler gatherings (#1-#10). The early periods (#1 or #2), the middle periods (#5 or #6), the latter periods (#9 or #10) were chosen from all periods (#1- #10) and the same observational situation (5 min.) was extracted on the early periods (#1 or #2), the middle periods (#5 or #6) and the latter periods (#9 or #10). Four behavior categories (the active behavior to toys, the movement, the active behavior to mother and the active behavior to others) were decided and the correlation coefficient of each four behavior categories and each toddler temperament scale was calculated on each of the four periods and all four periods. The following results were found: the relation of adaptation scale and the active behavior to mother was stabilized and was rarely changed under any circumstances. More of the same observational situations and more various contents of the observational situation were necessary to confirm the stabilized relationship of the toddler temperament scale and the observational behavior. |
