|
18歳人口の大幅な減少に伴い, 大学冬の時代を迎えつつある昨今, 優秀かつ個性的な学生を確保するために, それぞれの大学において入試制度のあり方が問われている.本学とてその例外ではない.そこで, 本稿では入学試験のあり方を(1)学力試験の問題点(特に多肢選択問題形式の問題点)について, (2)学力試験以外の選抜方法について, (3)本学学生の在学中学業成績と高校評定値および入試成績との関連, といった観点から論述した.以上の検討の結果, 入試は, 教育の中で重要な位置を占めているという発想のもとに手抜きの試験をしないということ, 具体的には筆記試験には多肢選択問題のみでなく記述型の試験を行うこと, 面接や小論文はそれなりに内容を吟味し, 幅の広い, 個性のある, 人間性の豊かな人物を選ぶことの重要性が示唆された. |

At the present time, universities and colleges are faced with the problem of declining applicant pools due to a decrease in the number of eligible 18 yeas-olds. As a result, every university and college has a sense of impending crisis and each is endeavoring to devise a better entrance examination system in order to select the best students possible. In this study, the problem was considered from the following viewpoints : (1) The basic problems of previous entrance examinations (the problem with multiple-choice test), (2) The advantages of an interview and essay process, and (3) The relationship among the high school confidential report, the English mark on the entrance examination and the students' grades at the university, As a result of the discussions, it was decided that the entrance examination is a vital part of the education process, and must be given with scrupulous care. There should be subjective questions as well as a multiple-choice test in the written examination, and a proper interview or a good essay theme which reveals the applicants' individuality and personality should be incorporated as a part of the evaluating process. |
