呼吸管理等濃厚な医学的管理が継続して必要な, いわゆる「超重度障害児」の判定基準に基づいて岡山県下の一般医療機関での実態調査を行い, 地域の中での総合的な医療・療育体制のあり方について検討した.岡山県下には28人の超重障児が把握された.20人(74%)が一般医療機関に入院, 2人が在宅で外来管理され, 6人が重症心身障害児施設に入所していた.今後, このような障害児のために, 地域の中で総合的な支援システムを確立する方策について提言した. |

The purpose of this paper is to introduce the present condition of "the so-called most severely mentally and physically handicapped" children who need the intensive medical care such as a respiratory management for a long time at general hospitals in Okayama and to propose the important and future role of the comprehensive medical-welfare system on the community-basis of those children.The total number of those children in Okayama prefecture (population : 2,000,000) was twenty-eight when the survey was done. Among them, twenty (74%) children were in-patients at general hospitals, two were out-patients and the rest of the children (6 chidren) were stayed in our hospital-home. Under the above condition, we should recog-nize the necessity for establishing the supporting system for those children and their family in our community. |
