| この研究の目的は「動く重症心身障害児」の現状と問題点の把握を行い, この群に対する重症心身障害児施設の今後の役割を検討することである.重症心身障害児施設入所の対象基準は「重度の精神薄弱および重度の肢体不自由が重複している」ことであるが, 実際には歩行可能なケース, いわゆる「動く重症心身障害児」が入所者の約1/5を占めている.この群は医療, 介護ニードが高く, 従来の施設への措置では対応が困難な群である.そこで, 全国の児童相談所を対象にこうした群の現状について調査を行った. | ||||||||||

| "The purpose of this paper is to discuss the current states and problems of the so-called ""movable"" severelly mentally and physically handicapped people, and to propose the future tasks of the hospital-homes for those people. Although the criterion of in-stitutionalizing in the above hospital-homes is to have both severely physical disability and profoundly mental retardation, approximately one-fifth of the residents who are named ""movable"" people with severely mentally and physically handicaps are now able to walk around freely. They need such a high quality and quantity of medical and daily care with that the ordinal institutions can not cope. Therefore we made a survey of these residents and their conditions through the official children's centers all over Japan." | ||||||||||
