| 近藤(1986)は絶食させたニワトリのヒナにおいて末梢血中の好異球数が増加し,その好異球の貪食能も上昇するが,Saccharomyces Cerevisiae クリアランス能は低下することを観察した。この現象は血中のグルココルチコイド濃度上昇によって好異球の殺菌能力が低下したためにおこったと報告している。本実験ではコルチコステロン投与によりヒナの好異球の貪食能力が低下することを明らかにした。この結果は好異球の貪食能力は血中のグルココルチコイド濃度には依存しないことをあらわしている。これは好異球の貪食能力の上昇は絶食が原因であることをしめしている。 | ||||||||

| It is shown by Kondo (1986) that the number of heterophil and phagocytic activity of heterophils in the peripheral blood were increased by the starvation using chicks, and the clearance rates of Saccharomyces Cerevisiae was decreased. He reported that these facts dependent on decrease of bactericidal activity of heterophils by the increase of glucocorticoid concentration in blood. In this experiment, the phagocytic activity was decreased by the injection of corticosterone into the chicks. These results show this activity was not dependent on the glucocorticoid concentration in the peripheral blood. It was shown that the starvation caused the increase of phagocytic activity. | ||||||||
