| CR反応潜時よりも短い刺激間間隔を用いたSCR条件づけにおいて, そこで観察される反応がORであるかCRであるかに関する論議は, 数多くなされてきた.しかしながら, いずれの立場も自説を証明するに充分な証拠を提示していない.そうした状況にあって, Furedyら(1977)は, そうした論議が燻製ニシンのようなものだ, と酷評し, そうした論議の排除を提案した.一方, Stewartら(1961)は, ORとCRを分離しうる有効な手段として, 長い刺激間間隔を用いることの可能性を提唱した.長い刺激間間隔を用いる延滞条件づけで観察される複数の峰をもつ反応は, 複合反応と呼ばれ, 各反応成分の分析が行われてきた.本稿の目的は, Furedyらに答えて, 複合反応の分析にもこうした燻製ニシンのような論議が内在していることを指摘し, かわって, SCR条件づけにおける複合反応の分析に関する新たな展望を試みるものである. | ||||||||

| In classical SCR conditioning experiments which employ interstimulus intervals shorter than the latency of the CR, there were numerous argurents to determine whether its observed response was CR or OR. However, no crucial evidence could be produced to prove the validity of their own position. In those disagreements, the arguments had been subjected to severe criticism by Furedy et al (1977). They regarded those arguments as things like the empirical red herring, and proposed the exclusion of the arguments. On the other hand, Stewart et al (1961) had explicated the possibility of distinguishing OR and CR by means of employing interstimulus interval longer than the latency of the CR. In delayed conditioning procedure with long interstimulus interval, the form of the response composed with a few waves was named"multiple response", and thereafter, the analysis of the multiple response has been studied. The aim of the present paper attempts to reply to the proposal of Furedy et al, and to indicate the possibility that those arguments concering the analysis of the multiple response involve one like the empirical red herring, and lastly, to suggest a new review of the analysis of the multiple response in SCR conditioning. | ||||||||
