自閉スペクトラム症（以下，ASDとする）の女性の有病率が男性と比較して低いことが指摘されている．女性の有病率の低さの背景の一つとして，診断のつきにくさがあると考えられる．特にASD症状が見えにくい低年齢の高機能女児の支援については，思春期に様々な症状として顕在化するまで 問題視されてこなかった．しかし，ASDの特徴は，脳機能の差異によって起こるという仮説から，思春期以前であっても何らかの兆候が見られている可能性が考えられる．本研究では，思春期以前のASD女児1名を対象に，女児の通う小学校内で参与観察を行ない，ASD女児の特徴を明らかにした上で，支援について検討を行なうことを目的とした．その結果，高機能ASD女児の特徴が周囲から見えにくく，隠されてしまう要因について，「他者と同じであろうとする試み」「その場に合わせた行動の装い」「完成にこぎつけようとする努力」「かりそめの対人関係」「学校の決まりやルールを第一に守ろうとする態度」の5つを見出した．さらに，これらの要因の背景として，「同調性による影響」「ソーシャルスキルにおける適応状況」「対人的な発達の影響」「学校のルールや規則に対する意識」が考えられ，本研究を通して，思春期前期のASD女児の支援の必要性について示唆された． |

It has been pointed out that the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in women is lower than in men. This is thought to do with the difficulty of diagnosis. In particular, support for high-functioning girls at an early age, with ASD symptoms being less visible, has not been considered a problem until the symptoms become more apparent in adolescence. However, based on the hypothesis that the characteristics of ASD are caused by differences in brain function, some signs of ASD may be observed even before puberty. This study was to examine the characteristics of preadolescent girls with ASD by observing an elementary school girl and to consider support. As a result, the following five factors were identified as factors that make it difficult to see the characteristics of high- functioning ASD girls who hide the characteristics from those around them: “attempts to be the same as others,” “pretending to act according to the situation,” “Efforts to complete the task,” “superficial interpersonal relationships,” and “attitude of trying to follow the rules and regulations of the school first”. In addition, as a background to these factors, “influence by synchronicity,” “adaptation status in social skills,” “influence of interpersonal development,” and “awareness of school rules and regulations” were considered, suggesting the necessity of supporting girls with ASD in early adolescence through this study. |
