本研究では，高等学校「公共」における社会的な見方・考え方として示されている「幸福，正義，公正」を手掛かりとして，社会契約説，功利主義，義務論からロールズとセンに至る思想の系譜が高等学校「公共」の教科書においてどのように扱われているかを分析した．その結果，①功利主義（ベンサム，ミル），②義務論（カント），③社会契約説（ホッブズ，ロック，ルソー），④ロールズについては，全ての教科書に記述されており，⑤センも1つを除くすべての教科書に記述されていた．しかし，それぞれの関係については，記されていないものや記述が十分ではないものもあった．生徒の多面的・多角的な考察を可能にするためには，関係に関する記述の充実が求められよう．また，教師はそれらの思想の関係について意識して指導にあたることが大切になる． |

This study examined the genealogy of ideas from social contract theory, utilitarianism, and the theory of obligation to Rawls and Amartya Sen, using“happiness, justice, and fairness”as a clue to the social views and ideas presented in high school“public”textbooks. The results of this analysis revealed that (1) utilitarianism (Bentham, Mill), (2) theory of obligation (Kant), (3) social contract theory (Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau), and (4) Rawls were all mentioned in the textbooks, and (5) Sen was also described in all textbooks except one. However, some of the respective relationships were not noted or described sufficiently. In order to enable students to consider multiple aspects and perspectives, a fuller description of relationships will be required in textbooks. In addition, it is important for teachers to be aware of the relationship between these ideas in their teaching. |
