| 本研究は，神経難病患者の家族介護者支援における医療ソーシャルワーカー（MSW）の実践について，その実践頻度と実践の重要性・効果性に対する認識の相互の関係を分析することにより， MSW による家族介護者支援の実態について明らかにすることが目的である．MSW2000名を対象に，無記名自記式の質問紙調査を行い，神経難病患者の支援経験を有する535人の調査票を分析資料として使用した．分析は神経難病患者の家族介護者支援の実践に関する37項目について，実践の頻度と実践の重要性・効果性の認識を点数化し，平均値と標準偏差を求めた．さらに，実践の頻度と実践の重要性・効果性の認識の平均値について相関係数を推定し，散布図により両者の関係を考察した．その結果，実践の頻度および実践の重要性・効果性の認識ともに，平均値は「主治医からの病状説明後は患者家族の説明内容の理解程度や受け止め方を確認している」が最も高く，次いで「患者家族へ情報を伝える際は，伝え方やタイミングに配慮している」が高値を示した．37項目の実践の頻度と実践の重要性・効果性の認識の平均値を散布図にプロットしたところ，実践の頻度と重要性・効果性の認識が「ともに高い群」と「ともに低い群」の2つに分けられた．「ともに高い群」に該当した実践項目は，理解促進を意図した業務行動であった．神経難病医療において，患者・家族の病状理解や予後に対する理解は極めて重要である．それら理解促進の重要性に MSW 自身も意識を持ち，現に仲介機能として実践することで，家族介護者の効果的な理解促進が体現されていることが示唆された． | ||||||||

| The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the frequency of social workers’support for family caregivers of patients with intractable neurological diseases and their awareness of effectiveness of such support. An anonymous self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted among social workers. Data from 535 people with experience supporting patients with intractable neurological disorders was analyzed. 37 items related to support for family caregivers of patients with intractable neurological diseases were analyzed. The mean and standard deviation for frequency of practice and recognition of the effectiveness of practice were calculated. Furthermore, a correlation analysis was conducted between the mean values of the frequency of practice and the perception of the effectiveness of the practice. The relationship between the two was examined using a scatter plot. As a result, the average scores for practice items related to promoting understanding among family caregivers were high in terms of both frequency of implementation and awareness of effectiveness of implementation. When the mean values for the frequency of 37 practice items and the recognition of the effectiveness of the practice were plotted on a scatter plot, participants were divided into two groups: those in which the frequency of practice and the recognition of its effectiveness were both high, and those in which they were both low. The practice items that fell into the“high group”were support for promoting understanding. | ||||||||
