| 本研究の目的は，大学医学部に勤務する医療秘書職（講座内で業務する教授秘書，医局秘書，補助員および補佐員と呼称される職員）の業務に技術革新がどのような影響を与えているかを明らかにすることである．本研究では，先にアンケート調査を行い，定量的データを収集した．その後，さらに詳細な分析を行うため，アンケート回答者の中から選出された6人に対してインタビュー調査を実施した．本論は，そのインタビュー調査について述べる．調査の結果，システム化した業務の増加により，医療秘書職には新たな知識や技能の習得が求められることが明らかになった．また，医師の補佐を担う職務において，多忙な医師から指示を受ける時間的余裕が限られている状況下では，医療秘書職が自らの判断で業務を遂行する必要があることが示された．そして，病院を併設する職場環境において，医療秘書職は病院のしくみに関する知識を持つ必要があることが示された．さらに，医師の働き方改革が推進されている今，医療秘書職は技術革新を取り込んだ事務処理能力を身に付け，自らの専門性と付加価値を高めることが不可欠であると結論付けた． | ||||||||

| This research aims to clarify the effect of technological innovation on medical secretaries (professor’s secretaries, medical department secretaries, and medical assistants in departments of medical schools). In this study, a questionnaire survey was first conducted to collect quantitative data. Subsequently, interviews were conducted with six individuals selected from among those who responded to the questionnaire in order to conduct a more detailed analysis. This article describes a part of the interview survey. As a result, it is necessary for medical secretaries to acquire new knowledge and skills due to the increase in systematized tasks. In addition, the survey indicated that medical secretaries need to make their own decisions in performing their duties as assistants to physicians, under circumstances in which they have limited time to receive instructions from busy physicians. It was further shown that in a work environment where a hospital is attached, medical secretaries also need to have knowledge of the hospital’s structure and workflow. Furthermore, now that work style reforms for physicians are being promoted, it is essential for medical secretaries to acquire administrative skills that incorporate technological innovation to enhance their expertise and add value to their own work. | ||||||||
