本研究の目的は，A 市とB 市の児童館を利用している子ども（主に小学3年生〜6年生，289人）の利用者評価に関する質問紙調査から，満足度や児童館利用効果（子どもの社会性）に与える要因について明らかにするとともに．子どもの相談状況を明らかにすることによって児童館の相談援助についても検討することである．その結果，15年前に実施した調査と同様に本調査でも，外遊びが好きな子どもは協調性が高く，創造性や満足度も高い傾向にあることから，子どもにとって外遊びが重要であることが再確認された．児童館によく来る子どもは，職員によく相談しており，協調性や創造性が高くなっていることが明らかになった．今後，児童館の相談援助などのソーシャルワークの充実が求められる．地域差については，A 市の方が児童館をよく利用しているが，満足度や創造性はB 市の方が高くなっていた．A 市はB 市に比べ児童館の数が多いが，不安についてもA 市の方が高いことから，相談支援などのソーシャルワークをより充実していくことが求められる． |

The purpose of this study is to clarify the factors that affect satisfaction and the effects of using children’s centers (children’s sociability). Furthermore, by clarifying the status of children’s consultations at children’s centers, we will also consider counseling support. A questionnaire survey was conducted on user evaluations of children (mainly 3rd to 6th graders, 289 children) using children’s centers in City A and City B. As a result, similar to the study conducted 15 years ago, this study also found that children who liked playing outside were more cooperative. They also tended to have high levels of creativity and satisfaction. The above reaffirms the importance of outdoor play for children. It has been found that children who frequently come to children’s centers often consult with staff and are more cooperative and creative. In the future, there will be a need to enhance counseling support (social work) at children’s centers. Regarding regional differences, children in City A used the children’s centers more often, but satisfaction and creativity were higher in City B. City A has more children’s centers than City B, but anxiety is also higher in City A, so more comprehensive activities such as counseling functions are required. |
