本稿は，放課後等デイサービス（以下，放課後デイ）を利用する保護者へのインタビュー調査から，放課後デイの利用状況，子どもの放課後生活への不安・負担，ニーズ，利用者評価などを把握し，放課後デイを中心とした障害のある子どもの放課後生活に関する課題について明らかにしたものである．放課後デイを利用する保護者へのインタビュー調査から，「子どもの放課後生活や保護者自身の不安及び負担」，「放課後デイのサービス利用状況」，「放課後デイを中心とする放課後生活へのニーズ」，「放課後デイを中心としたサービス利用者評価」，「放課後デイを中心とした放課後生活の課題」の5つのカテゴリーを生成した．保護者ニーズについては，放課後等デイサービスガイドラインの基本的役割（子どもの最善の利益の保障，保護者支援，共生社会の実現に向けた後方支援）に整理した．これらを踏まえ，放課後デイのサービス利用者評価をみると，放課後デイに対する肯定的な認識や，放課後デイ利用による保護者負担の軽減など肯定的な評価があった一方で，放課後デイのサービス内容への不安及び負担など否定的な評価もあった．そして，保護者ニーズと利用者評価の関係性から，放課後デイの不十分な利用日数及び利用時間や希薄な地域との交流，障がいのある子どもの放課後の居場所の選択肢が少なさなど，「放課後デイの検討すべき課題」が明らかになった． |

This report is based on an interview survey of parents who use after-school day care services (hereafter referred to as “after-school day care”) to ascertain their children’s use of after-school day care services, their concerns and burdens about their children’s after-school life, their needs, and user evaluations. This report clarifies issues related to the after-school life of children with disabilities, focusing on after-school day care services. Based on interviews with parents who use after-school day care services, five categories were generated: “concerns and burdens about children’s after-school life and parents’ own concerns and burdens,”“ use of after-school day care services,”“ needs for after-school life centering on after-school day care services,” “evaluation of service users centering on afterschool day care services,” and “challenges of after-school life centering on after-school day care services.” The five categories of “after-school life issues centered on after-school day care” were generated. The needs of parents and guardians were organized into the basic roles of the Guidelines for After-School Day Services (guaranteeing the best interests of the child, supporting parents and guardians, and providing logistical support toward the realization of a symbiotic society). Based on these, the evaluation of after-school day-care service users showed that while there were positive evaluations, such as positive recognition of after-school day-care and reduction of parental burden through the use of after-school day-care, there were also negative evaluations such as anxiety and burden about the content of after-school day-care services. The relationship between parents’ needs and users’ evaluations revealed“ issues to consider regarding after-school day care,” such as insufficient number of days and hours of use of after-school day care, weak interaction with the community, and few options for after-school places for children with disabilities. |
