The fearful attachment style is the most volatile style, with a negative view of the self and others leading to many interpersonal problems. Therefore, clarifying frightening experiences and feelings about interpersonal relationships could help people develop stable interpersonal relationships. The purpose of this study was to clarify the effects of fearful attachment styles on emotional arousal in interpersonal situations. A questionnaire survey was administered to university students.
