In this task, we employed two reversal conditions: whole and partial reversal conditions. Under the whole reversal condition, the stimulus-response associations changed for all stimuli so that the subjects were able to prospectively adapt their behavior after the reversal on the basis of their knowledge of prior stimulus-response associations. This type of reversal learning corresponds to top-down behavioral adaptation. Under the partial reversal condition, only a portion of stimuli changed their contingency so that the subjects needed to relearn the stimulus-response associations after the reversal. This type of reversal learning corresponds to bottom-up behavioral adaptation. We found a significant increase in the oxyhemoglobin (oxy-Hb) concentration in the first block after the whole reversal, and a significant decrease in the first block after the partial reversal. These results indicate that the PFC is especially important for top-down behavioral adaptation."}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2021-05-06"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"09 Takayuki HOSOKAWA.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"494.7 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"PDF","url":"https://kwmw.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/14892/files/09 Takayuki HOSOKAWA.pdf"},"version_id":"24d1bd32-ed02-43ac-96a4-f2508bf5f04c"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"prefrontal cortex","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"fNIRS","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"top-down","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"bottom-up","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"adaptation","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Differential Activation Patterns in the Prefrontal Cortex during Top-down and Bottom-up Behavioral Adaptations in Reversal Learning: A Functional Near-infrared Spectroscopy Study","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Differential Activation Patterns in the Prefrontal Cortex during Top-down and Bottom-up Behavioral Adaptations in Reversal Learning: A Functional Near-infrared Spectroscopy Study","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"1","owner":"23","path":["338"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2021-05-06"},"publish_date":"2021-05-06","publish_status":"0","recid":"14892","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Differential Activation Patterns in the Prefrontal Cortex during Top-down and Bottom-up Behavioral Adaptations in Reversal Learning: A Functional Near-infrared Spectroscopy Study"],"weko_creator_id":"23","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2024-02-15T07:52:11.342702+00:00"}
