This study analyzed students’ equipment and learners’ logs in classes for first-year medical secretarial students to determine what kind of class design and system support was needed. As a result, the following points became apparent. First, teachers should create teaching materials and develop classes in consideration of students’ learning environments. Second, when teachers provide support to students, they should do it promptly and use push-type communication methods. Third, teachers should change the course design to handle both face-to-face classes and distance classes and review the teaching materials. Fourth, creating teams of teachers is useful to manage the situation in multiple ways. Fifth, for student schedule management, students should learn the management method linked with the university system.
