The purpose of this study was to demonstrate the immediate influence of trunk rotation isometric exercise and rhythmic stabilization using a machine on pelvic rotation wobble during the active hip abduction test. Subjects were 20 asymptomatic individuals. The anterior-posterior acceleration of the pelvis during the active hip abduction test was measured before and after the following 2 interventions: isometric trunk rotation (n=10) and rhythmic stabilization using a machine (n=10). There was no significant change in the acceleration of the pelvis after the interventions.
