In November 2015, the researchers conducted semi-structured interviews targeting the director (n = 1) of the support facilities for persons with disabilities within the city of X. In the interviews, the director stated their view that it was necessary to assume the occurrence of numerous disasters beginning with fire prevention in group living facilities.　In this study, it was found that the facility director knew that the awareness of the parties of the staff is necessary to prevent disasters, and that how to promote disaster prevention awareness in the staff is an important issue.
