Nursing students use learned contents from lectures and skill labs on campus and learn knowledge, skills, attitude, occupational ethics, and work values through experiencing patient relations in clinical practice. There are some nursing students who are not good at interpersonal relations, and they try to take action to communicate with others. Self-efficacy is necessary for nursing students to take such action and is able to be gained by having success experiences repeatedly. Nursing students learn in various situations in clinical practice and make occupational identity as nurses in situated learning. Self-efficacy is related to such a process.
