The questionaire was sent to 49 teachers of two ordinary schools and 55 teachers of one school for the handicapped. The results tell that teachers of both kinds of schools do not have enough knowledge for epilepsy, and many answered that they \"do not understand what it is\". It is clear that they have few opportunities to learn about epilepsy. They need to get the medical and health care knowledge about epilepsy and epileptic children. The teachers of the school for handicapped gave better insturuction than those of the ordinary schools. It is necessary, therefore, that for students who will be involved with epileptic children in future as teachers or care-givers should be provided with opportunities to get enough knowledge about epilepsy. It is desired that they receive practical guidance in this field after graduate from universities.
