We think the structure of the brake can become simple and compact. In this study, we found the way to control the brake corresponding to the gaits. In the clinical evaluation, this orthosis could shorten the time for equipment. With this orthosis, a patient with paraplegia could have the fast motion of sit-to-stand in the parallel bars and make the upright position touching the bars for more than 1 minute.
