: S群)の授業を2004年の同大学M学科(118名 : M群)での運用と比較して,ブレンディッド・ラーニングによる学習効果の評価を行い,e-learningの成功要因を探るものである.両群の学生には,授業開始時にコンピュータ操作能力を確認するためのタイピングテスト,授業開始時と終了時に医学知識レベルを測るための医学用語読みテスト,到達度確認テスト,意識調査を行った.コンピュータ操作能力,授業後の医学用語読みテスト,到達度確認テストの結果は,S群がM群を上回った.意識調査の結果では,S群はM群に比べて,やや消極的な態度を示したが,応用学習(追加タスク)やブレンディッド・ラーニング形式の授業に対する評価は肯定的であった.特にS群においては,コンピュータ操作能力,特に日本語・英語の両方での十分なタッチタイピングスキルの習得,および学習への動機づけの重要性を強調する結果も得られた.今回の実践からブレンディッド・ラーニングが有効な教育手段であると確認したが,その効果をさらに上げるため,以下のような取り組みが必要である.すなわち(1)教員・学生間の双方向性を十分に確保すること,(2)個人差に対する配慮を行うこと,(3)ハードウェア等の十分な環境整備を行うこと,(4)学生の到達度を考慮したコスト評価を行うこと,の4点である."}]},"item_1_textarea_12":{"attribute_name":"抄録(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_textarea_language":"en","subitem_textarea_value":"We have developed an e-learning system for medical English terminology, and have been introducing it since 2002. We also began introducing the technique of blended learning for large-scale classes in 2004. This study aimed to evaluate the learning effect of the use of blended learning with an e-learning system for medical English terminology by comparing the results of students in 2005 (S group) with those of students in 2004 (M group). In 2004 and 2005, a typing-test, reading tests of Japanese medical terms, and an achievement test were administered to 198 students, and they answered two questionnaires. Both groups experienced blended learning. The S group outperformed the M group on the typing-test, reading tests of Japanese medical terms, and achievement test. As for the questionnaires, however, the S group showed a more passive stance than the M group; they replied positively to application tasks and blended learning. We found that in order to maximize student learning it is necessary that students already possess touch-typing skills and a genuine incentive for learning.
