K大学の水泳実習における安全対策の実施状況を把握することと, 能力別グループ編成の妥当性について検討することであった.安全対策として, スタッフ編成や実習前の健康チェックは整備されているものの, 実習時の救命救急体制, 個々人の健康状態の変化に対する対応についてはさらに検討する必要があることが認められた.また, グループ編成の妥当性については, 全身持久力と水泳技能のどちらが実習中の疲労感に関係するのかを検討した結果, 水泳実習中の疲労感は水泳技能と相関関係が見られたが, 最大酸素摂取量とは相関関係が見られなかった.したがって, 安全な水泳実習のグループ編成には,
