粘性抵抗の高い水中での歩行運動において低い水温環境が代謝に及ぼす影響を明らかにすることであった.被験者は3名の健康な男子とした.被験者は45分間, 水温22℃と30℃の水道水の中及び粘性抵抗を高めた水の中を水中トレッドミルで歩行した.歩行速度は4km・h^-1とした.粘性抵抗を高めた水は1%カルボキシメチルセルロースとした.粘性抵抗は水温の変化によって変化した.従って, 水溶性カルボキシメチルセルロースの濃度を変えることにより粘性抵抗を一定に保った.水中歩行運動中の酸素摂取量と直腸温を測定した.水温30℃において直腸温は, 水道水及び粘性水で上昇した.直腸温の上昇率は粘性水が高い傾向にあった.水温22℃において直腸温は, 粘性水で上昇し, 水道水で下降する傾向を示した.粘性水における酸素摂取量は水温30℃及び22℃のどちらでも水道水より高かった.水温22℃における酸素摂取量の増加率は水温30℃よりも低い傾向にあった.これらの結果は粘性水が熱放散を減少したことを示唆する.粘性水での水中歩行運動は体温を保持するので運動処方に効果的であると考える."}]},"item_1_textarea_12":{"attribute_name":"抄録(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_textarea_language":"en","subitem_textarea_value":"The purpose of the present study was to clarify the metabolic responses to exercise in viscous water at a lower temperature of water. Three males served as subjects. They walked on a treadmill in water and viscous water for 45 minutes at water temperatures of 22℃ and 30℃. Speed of walking was 4km・h^<-1>. Viscous water was 1% solution of carboxymethyl cellulose. Viscous resistance was affected by water temperature. To keep the viscous resistance, we adjusted the percentage of solution according to water temperature. Oxygen uptake ( V^^O_2 ) and rectal temperature were measured during walking. At 30℃ of water temperature, rectal temperature rose in normal water and viscous water. A rate of increase of rectal temperature in viscous water was higher than that of normal water. At 22℃ of water temperature, rectal temperature might be shown rising in viscous water and lowering in normal water. V^^O_2 for viscous water was higher than that of normal water at both 30℃ and 22℃ water temperatures. The rate of increase of V^^O_2 at 22 was lower than that of viscous water. These results suggest that viscous water may decrease a heat dissipation.
